About the role
TL;DR
Design and ship end-to-end experiences for Figma's Content Management Systems.
- •Figma is seeking experienced Product Designers to shape how teams build together, focusing on the Content Management Systems (CMS) team.
- •You will turn ambiguity into clarity, push the product forward with cross-functional partners, and invent new ways for people to design and build products.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and ship end-to-end experiences for organizing, managing, and delivering content across Figma products.
- •Partner closely with engineering to shape platform capabilities and technical infrastructure for CMS and open-source initiatives.
- •Translate technically complex systems into intuitive, elegant user experiences.
- •Prototype early and often to explore ideas, validate concepts, and communicate nuanced interaction and technical decisions.
- •Contribute to product strategy and long-term vision by integrating customer insights, product thinking, and technical understanding.
- •Requirements 4+ years of experience designing UX and UI for complex software products.
- •Exceptional product design craft with strong visual and interaction skills, capable of simplifying complex systems.
- •Experience where code is part of the design process, building working prototypes to explore interaction ideas and technical possibilities.
- •Demonstrated ability to move fast, form a point of view, test it, and adjust course without waiting for complete information.
- •Ability to define a clear product and design vision in ambiguous spaces, using customer insights and research to guide decisions.
