Build and evolve mission-critical infrastructure for Waymo's ride-hailing and fleet management systems.

• •Waymo is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Commercialization team.
• •This role will focus on building systems that improve Waymo's core ride-hailing and fleet management systems, contributing to the future of autonomous transportation.
• •Key Responsibilities Help build and evolve mission-critical horizontal infrastructure and tooling.
• •Collaborate with other engineering teams to develop systems and processes.
• •Scale systems to meet the demands of commercial expansion and growing complexity.
• •Solve real-world problems such as world simulation for regression testing and fleet management.
• •Requirements BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 6+ years of backend or infrastructure experience.
• •Experience with C++ (or willingness to learn).
