- •Buffer is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a small, high-leverage team responsible for the platform that enables all Buffer engineers to ship code and millions of creators to publish content.
- •This role focuses on improving infrastructure reliability, modernizing the foundation with technologies like KEDA and Argo Rollouts, and enhancing developer tooling.
- •Key Responsibilities Enhance CI/CD pipelines for speed and anti-fragility, and improve incident response learning.
- •Modernize infrastructure by deploying KEDA and Argo Rollouts, improving monitoring, and integrating AI.
- •Develop developer tooling as products to accelerate the inner loop for engineers.
- •Own day-to-day reliability of the production platform, including EKS, ArgoCD, and AWS.
- •Build progressive delivery systems and developer tools as products.
- •Requirements Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, SRE, or DevOps engineer.
- •Hands-on experience operating production Kubernetes at scale on managed offerings (EKS, GKE, AKS).
- •Strong Terraform skills and experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and GitOps via ArgoCD.
- •Experience building internal developer tools and a pragmatic approach to build-vs-buy decisions.
- •Comfort with Cloudflare and observability stacks like Datadog.
