Devops Engineer, Federal

Own and execute secure, compliant federal deployments and improve product deployability.

• •Foundational engineer on Cognition's federal team owning end-to-end deployment, compliance, and platform reliability for mission-critical federal deployments.
• •Key Responsibilities Architect and maintain end-to-end lifecycle of federal enterprise deployments and environments.
• •Work with customer engineering and GTM teams to ensure security controls and federal compliance.
• •Contribute to core product codebase to improve deployability and operability.
• •Build integrations, automation, and extensions using Cognition's APIs.
• •Serve as technical liaison between Federal and infrastructure teams and handle escalated issues.
• •Requirements Strong engineering foundation building and maintaining distributed systems. 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• •Experience working with government or government-focused companies.
• •Experience implementing compliance and security controls for regulated environments.
• •Proficiency in Python or TypeScript and comfort navigating unfamiliar codebases.
