Senior Space Vehicle Project Advisor

Assist in the development and management of space projects for The Exploration Company.

• •Assist the Chief of Engineering on the Nyx project by providing technical expertise in space projects.
• •Key Responsibilities Lead assigned System and Subsystem Projects including the management of cost, schedule, technical quality and risk Support Business Development and Sales efforts with local and state-wide government and commercial customers Support development of US government and commercial proposals Support the engineering team in design, development, and certification activities Requirements Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, systems, electrical engineering or related technical field 10+ years of experience in space systems project management, systems engineering, or space systems development Broad knowledge across spacecraft sub-systems, re-entry technologies, and/or crew systems Experience across the space systems lifecycle including requirements definition, design, assembly, integration, test, and operations Experience with ISS resupply, LEO station logistics, or exploration programs Knowledge and experience with US contracting processes, including NASA and commercial space procurement Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary international teams
