Quantum Research Scientist

Lead quantum operations development for next-gen QCCD trapped-ion quantum computers.

• •Lead the remote development of quantum operations for next-generation QCCD trapped-ion quantum computers.
• •Key Responsibilities Conduct experimental work on a trapped ion QCCD testbed.
• •Invent and develop software and hardware automation tools.
• •Perform design trade studies and analyses.
• •Present scientific results internally, at conferences, and in publications.
• •Quarterly travel to the site hosting the system.
• •Requirements PhD must be completed prior to start date. 8+ years of experience in quantum computing, quantum information, atomic physics, etc.
• •Not a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless also a U.S. citizen.
