- •Remedy Robotics is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to design key components of a novel, life-saving surgical robot.
- •This role involves contributing to the entire design cycle of robotic systems for endovascular intervention.
- •Key Responsibilities Design mechanisms for surgical robots and single-use surgical tools.
- •Participate in the full design cycle, from conceptual to detailed designs for prototypes and production machines.
- •Generate specifications, component drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- •Conduct subsystem level testing, including test plan development, execution, data collection, and analysis.
- •Rapidly design and produce proof-of-concept hardware for R&D projects.
- •Requirements 2+ years of industry experience.
- •Recent experience designing mechanisms.
- •Strong mechanical design, integration, and analysis skills using 3D modeling (e.g., OnShape, Solidworks) and structural methods (e.g., beam deflection, FEA).
- •Ability to work with hand tools and prototyping equipment.
- •Clear and concise communication of complex ideas.
