About the role

Own the full enterprise sales cycle to acquire, retain, and expand large customers.

  • Drive revenue growth by owning the full sales cycle for enterprise customers, landing new clients, retaining customers, and expanding accounts for Kong's API and AI connectivity platform.
  • Key Responsibilities Develop and execute enterprise sales strategies and build a robust pipeline.
  • Own full sales cycle including prospecting, demos, negotiations, and closing.
  • Build relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success to align on customer needs.
  • Forecast sales, manage CRM, and represent Kong at industry events.
  • Requirements 7+ years enterprise sales experience selling to large (>1k employee) customers.
  • Proven track record closing complex SaaS/cloud/enterprise software deals.
  • Strong consultative selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and data-driven forecasting.
