Senior Software Engineer, Intelligence

Design, build, and operate services for AngelList's Intelligence team.

• •AngelList is seeking Senior Software Engineers to join our Intelligence team.
• •You will design, build, and operate services that power retrieval, semantic search, agent orchestration, model integrations, and data pipelines that turn our proprietary signals into product features.
• •Key Responsibilities Work with one of the deepest private-market datasets in the world and build systems that surface high-value signals for investors.
• •Design and operate OpenSearch-backed retrieval and semantic search systems and tune them for real product use.
• •Build and run agent orchestration, model integrations, and safety layers for LLM-driven workflows.
• •Prototype new AI-driven features and productionize them in a Go-first codebase.
• •Own large features end-to-end and improve our testing, observability, and operational practices.
• •Requirements A full-stack generalist or backend specialist who can work across the stack, with at least 4+ years of experience building large-scale web applications or backend services.
• •Comfortable writing clean, production-quality Go (Golang) code, including services, libraries, and tests.
• •Our repo is Go-first and includes modern Go AI and search libraries.
