TL;DR
Actuarial expert to translate life & annuity product specs into system logic for illustrations and policy administration.
- •Bestow is seeking a Senior Product Actuary, Life & Annuity to join their Insurance Product Team.
- •This role will focus on reimagining illustration and policy administration capabilities for complex life and annuity products, working closely with engineering and data science teams.
- •Key Responsibilities Serve as the subject-matter expert on actuarial and calculation logic for illustrations and policy administration systems.
- •Translate product specifications into implementable system logic, working closely with Engineering.
- •Use AI tools to prototype, code, and test calculation logic.
- •Support policy migrations and new business product implementations.
- •Requirements 8+ years of life insurance industry experience; annuity experience is a strong plus. 3-5 years of hands-on experience building pricing models or implementing illustration and policy administration systems.
- •Deep product knowledge of life and annuity insurance products and complex riders.
- •Actuarial background (ASA, FSA) is strongly preferred.
