Firmware Engineer

Develops and maintains embedded firmware for industrial IoT devices, focusing on reliability and security.

• •AssetWatch is seeking a Firmware Engineer to design, build, test, release, and sustain the firmware powering their connected hardware platform, which includes industrial IoT devices like vibration sensors and edge hubs.
• •Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain embedded firmware for sensors, hubs, and related hardware.
• •Implement and debug firmware features for communication, diagnostics, data collection, and updates.
• •Support wired and wireless networking behavior, including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and BLE.
• •Implement and review firmware cybersecurity features and protocols.
• •Investigate and resolve field issues involving hardware, firmware, and communication.
• •Requirements Experienced in using AI tools to accelerate FW production and quality.
• •Strong experience developing production embedded firmware in C or C++.
• •Hands-on experience debugging firmware on real hardware using lab equipment.
• •Experience with Git-based development workflows and production-quality release discipline.
