Staff Software Engineer to own and develop frontend applications using React and GraphQL.
- •Recorded Future is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Users team, responsible for frontend development of tools and services for user access, account management, and administration.
- •This role involves taking ownership of the frontend surfaces built and maintained by the team.
- •Key Responsibilities Build new features and maintain existing React applications using GraphQL for backend communication.
- •Contribute to the migration of legacy jQuery code to React.
- •Own quality end-to-end, including integration verification, writing tests, and contributing to the Playwright test suite.
- •Challenge requirements, propose solutions, share knowledge, and mentor colleagues.
- •Requirements Strong hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- •Experience writing GraphQL from the frontend.
- •Quality-first mindset with experience in writing tests and owning QA.
- •Experience with Playwright or similar end-to-end testing tools.
- •Ability to work in unfamiliar codebases and resolve complex problems creatively.
