  • Shield AI is seeking a Director, FP&A Digitization to lead the AI strategy and modernization of its financial planning and analysis functions.
  • This role will drive the adoption of generative AI, semantic data services, and modern data architectures to enhance speed, automation, and confidence in financial operations.
  • Key Responsibilities Define and execute the AI strategy for FP&A, focusing on generative BI, text-to-SQL, RAG, and document intelligence.
  • Own Finance's AI & data products end-to-end, including requirements, UX/UI, testing, and roadmap.
  • Lead the design and governance of the semantic layer for LLMs and BI tools, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Drive MDM strategy for critical Finance domains and modernize planning, reporting, and modeling systems.
  • Chair Finance's Data Governance Council and build trust frameworks for AI adoption.
  • Requirements 12+ years in Finance technology, FP&A systems, data engineering, analytics, or AI.
  • Strong experience building and deploying generative AI solutions, RAG pipelines, semantic layers, and data governance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to translate Finance problems into technical architectures and production-grade products.
  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams and overseeing multi-million-dollar portfolios.
  • Executive-level communication skills and experience presenting strategy to CFO-staff.
