Senior Software Engineer to build and scale Zocdoc's provider platform systems.
- •Zocdoc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join teams building the provider platform, focusing on core systems for provider data, onboarding, and management.
- •This role involves scaling these systems to handle tens of thousands of providers efficiently and reliably.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and evolve services for provider infrastructure and roster management.
- •Write clean, well-tested code across C#, React, and AWS.
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape solutions from idea to launch.
- •Migrate services from legacy systems to modern, event-driven architectures.
- •Ensure service health and observability through metrics and load tests.
- •Requirements 6+ years of professional software development experience, with significant backend or full-stack work on distributed systems.
- •Experience shipping features or services for high-scale systems.
- •Comfort working across the stack and learning unfamiliar parts of a system.
- •Experience in an agile, cross-functional environment.
- •Track record of mentoring other engineers and raising the bar on testing and observability.
