- •Airwallex is seeking a Senior Associate/Manager, Regulatory Compliance, UK to join their EMEA Regulatory Compliance Team.
- •This role will be responsible for delivering the regulatory engagement strategy for Airwallex in the UK, ensuring licensing responsibilities are maintained and coordinating with internal and external parties for compliance.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage regulatory compliance components of license authorization processes.
- •Act as a key stakeholder for license applications and information requests with regulators.
- •Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting obligations are maintained for UK entities.
- •Advise the business on regulatory change initiatives and manage compliance risk.
- •Develop policies and processes for regulatory risk obligations.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree with regulatory compliance experience in a financial institution, FinTech, or legal/consulting firm (minimum 4 years for Senior Associate; minimum 6 years for Manager).
- •Familiarity with UK financial regulatory laws, rules, and industry best practices (specifically FCA-regulated environments).
- •Ability to operate strategically and think creatively to solve complex regulatory compliance challenges.
- •Superior communication skills to explain complex topics to diverse stakeholders.
- •Experience developing and/or maintaining a compliance program within a financial institution, preferably in payments and e-money activity.
