Senior Software Engineer Backend

Build and maintain scalable Java backend services and APIs for Aera's Decision Intelligence platform.

• •Senior backend engineer responsible for designing, building and maintaining scalable, performant APIs and software products within Aera's Decision Intelligence platform.
• •Key Responsibilities Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code and automation.
• •Deliver highly scalable, robust, and performant APIs and services (microservices).
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence product direction.
• •Mentor junior engineers and participate in design and code reviews.
• •Requirements 8+ years server-side development experience, strong Java and Spring expertise.
• •Experience with microservices, REST APIs, ORM frameworks, Git, Gradle, and Linux.
• •Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit/TestNG/Mockito) and performance optimization.
• •Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud/platforms like AWS; experience with streaming systems (Kafka, Spark).
