About the role
TL;DR
Lead P&C test engineer for substation protection and control systems.
- •Lead the testing, commissioning, and validation of protection and control systems in substations.
- •Ensure electrical systems operate safely and reliably, mentoring junior engineers.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead advanced testing and commissioning of protection and control systems.
- •Perform and oversee relay protection testing using various platforms.
- •Validate complete protection and control systems including SCADA and communications.
- •Interpret and troubleshoot relay logic, event reports, and fault behavior.
- •Lead complex utility commissioning projects and coordinate field execution.
- •Requirements Minimum 3+ years of experience in high-voltage Protection & Control testing.
- •Experience with SEL, GE, ABB, Siemens, Westinghouse, or equivalent relay platforms.
- •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
- •Strong understanding of AC/DC power system fundamentals and protection philosophy.
- •Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
