Secure Relevance AI's autonomous agent platform and build novel AI security guardrails.
- •Relevance AI is seeking a Staff AI Application Security Engineer to be the specialist behind application and product security for a platform of autonomous agents.
- •This role addresses the unique security challenges of AI agents acting on behalf of enterprise customers.
- •Key Responsibilities Migrate access control to a new model and close any gaps.
- •Secure the product surface including authn/authz, API security, input/output handling, and supply-chain risk.
- •Build guardrails for agent safety, including permissions, attribution, sandboxing, tool-use limits, and prompt-injection defense.
- •Establish least-privilege access across production and make secure paths the fast paths.
- •Develop autonomous security agents for continuous scanning and remediation.
- •Requirements A strong perspective on agentic security and its implications.
- •Deep experience in application security on a production platform (authn/authz, API security, secure design, supply-chain risk).
- •Hands-on ownership and a preference for fixing issues directly.
- •Systems thinking to design and break down end-to-end autonomous systems.
- •Familiarity with TypeScript, AWS, MCP, and AI engineering fundamentals.
