Product Engineer – Search

Develop and improve the search experience for developers at Firecrawl.

• •You'll own the developer-facing search experience at Firecrawl, bridging the gap between research and product.
• •This role is for someone who understands systems deeply and is obsessive about user experience.
• •Key Responsibilities Ship search improvements that developers notice, turning research into product changes.
• •Own the search API end-to-end, focusing on integration, usability, and developer experience.
• •Translate research into product decisions, working closely with research engineers.
• •Run fast product experiments to improve search functionality.
• •Raise the bar on developer experience by ensuring consistency and helpfulness.
• •Requirements 3+ years in applied RL, ML engineering, or model training with production systems.
• •Obsessive about developer experience, including latency, response structure, and API ergonomics.
• •Fluent in both product and engineering, able to read algorithms and implement API specs.
