Staff Design Systems Engineer

Build AI-first design systems, workflows, and tooling to improve team efficiency.

• •Embed in Design & Research to build AI-first design systems, workflows, and tooling that multiply team efficiency and automate repetitive tasks.
• •Key Responsibilities Own and evolve AI-first design systems and workflows to improve EPD efficiency.
• •Build agents, scripts, and integrations across Figma, component libraries, and research repos.
• •Automate repetitive design/research tasks into background processes.
• •Identify strategic opportunities where AI improves research rigor and handoffs.
• •Requirements 4+ years in design systems, design engineering, design ops, research ops, or TPM.
• •Active use of LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) in workflows.
• •Experience with Figma, design tokens, component libraries, and prototyping tools.
• •Technical fluency with APIs and automation platforms to wire systems together.
