Senior Systems Software Engineer

Develop and ship high-performance software and firmware for CT scanning hardware.

• •Build and ship high-performance Linux-based software and firmware for Lumafield's CT scanning hardware, focusing on data acquisition, processing, and embedded system reliability.
• •Key Responsibilities Develop performance edge applications to acquire, process, and stream radiograph data.
• •Write appliance firmware and drivers to control scanner peripherals and maintain tight control loops.
• •Ship production-critical Linux applications and configure core services (udev, systemd, kernel settings).
• •Architect data acquisition solutions balancing configurability and customizability.
• •Collaborate with product, research, hardware, and software teams and build testing infrastructure.
• •Requirements 3+ years writing low-level, high-performance software in Python and C.
• •Experience with embedded Linux and configuring core services (udev, systemd).
• •Startup experience and pragmatic trade-off judgment.
• •Experience integrating hardware using vendor SDKs and writing driver integrations.
