• •Flexport is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Customs Technology team.
• •This role will focus on building innovative systems to navigate the complexities of international trade and customs brokerage, leveraging technology to disrupt a traditionally under-innovated industry.
• •Key Responsibilities Develop and launch products rapidly and incrementally, shipping to production dozens of times per day.
• •Design and build deep, complex integrations with government agencies and partners.
• •Automate archaic customs filing processes and deliver supply chain insights.
• •Create efficient domain models for the freight forwarding industry.
• •Requirements 5+ years of experience writing software with a strong engineering background.
• •Ability to convey technical ideas clearly to business partners and engineers.
• •A bias for action and a desire to solve problems independently.
• •Aptitude for learning quickly.
