About the role
TL;DR
Builds and improves the Cash & Close product for Numeric's financial data platform.
- •Numeric is building the modern data platform for accounting and finance, realizing the dream of live, rich, trustworthy data and insights for companies to drive decision-making & execution.
- •This role focuses on the Close product, which is the operating center for accounting and finance teams, weaving collaboration, automation, and workflow tools with deeply-integrated financial data.
- •Key Responsibilities Ship visible changes to users in a tight feedback loop with customers.
- •Consistently refactor and improve the system, codebase, and tools.
- •Reason about systems with regard to resilience, testing, and observability.
- •Build systems to support and manage AI development.
- •Requirements 3+ years of full-time experience building software, ideally some tenure of >2 years in one company.
- •Fluency of backend fundamentals, including data structures, database fundamentals, performance concepts.
- •Code design skills to build robust, high-quality programs.
