Associate Software Engineer, Backend

• •Ontic is hiring an Associate Software Engineer to contribute to the development of backend systems that power our SaaS platform.
• •Key Responsibilities Contribute to building backend services and features using Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch Implement well-defined tasks and components with guidance from senior engineers Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established engineering standards Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality Work with engineers and product teams to deliver assigned tasks Requirements 0-2 years of software engineering experience Foundational knowledge of Java or similar object-oriented programming languages Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and backend development concepts Familiarity with Spring Boot, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or similar technologies Exposure to APIs, databases, and web application development
