Security Engineer Intern

Security Engineer Intern to work on operational security and a scoped project.

• •Hands-on 10-week security internship embedded in the Security, Privacy and Infrastructure team, split 50/50 between operational security and a scoped project to improve Freetrade's security.
• •Key Responsibilities Vulnerability triage and proof-of-concept testing (offensive security/pentesting) Support vendor security reviews and third-party risk assessments (GRC) Assist with automation and AI tool security/privacy assessments Work on a dedicated project with a clear outcome and documented scope Requirements Foundational knowledge of offensive security, pentesting, or bug bounty practices Ability to write scripts or code (Python preferred) Understanding of core security concepts and principles Any hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools or CTFs is a plus
