• •This role is crucial for ensuring seamless patient care by coordinating with health plans and healthcare providers.
• •Key Responsibilities Request prior authorizations from health plans for visits, procedures, and referrals.
• •Monitor and track patient referral statuses, following up with health plans as needed.
• •Maintain accurate records of patient referrals and communication.
• •Verify patient insurance coverage and ensure compliance with regulations.
• •Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.
• •Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• •At least 1 year of experience as a Referral Coordinator.
• •Strong collaborator with a positive, team-focused mindset.
