Corporate Counsel, Telecommunications & Regulatory

Provide legal guidance on telecommunications and AI regulations for a cloud communications platform.

• •Dialpad is seeking a Corporate Counsel, Telecommunications & Regulatory to be the primary legal authority on telecommunications law, AI governance, and consent requirements.
• •This role involves partnering with various departments to ensure compliance with evolving legal frameworks.
• •Key Responsibilities Serve as subject matter expert on FCC and state PUC regulatory frameworks for UCaaS and CCaaS offerings.
• •Provide guidance on STIR/SHAKEN compliance, CLI masking, and Caller ID obligations.
• •Monitor and analyze telecommunications developments and translate findings into actionable guidance.
• •Manage regulatory filings and reporting obligations with federal, state, and international agencies.
• •Advise on call recording consent law, TCPA, FTSA, and SMS compliance.
• •Requirements 4-8 years of legal experience with telecommunications regulatory matters.
• •Familiarity with FCC rules and the Communications Act.
• •Practical experience advising on call recording consent law.
