• •Waymo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Fleet Orchestration and Optimization team.
• •You will help build and evolve mission-critical infrastructure and tooling that underpins Waymo's core ride-hailing and fleet management systems, scaling them to meet commercial expansion demands.
• •Key Responsibilities Help build and evolve mission-critical horizontal infrastructure and tooling.
• •Collaborate with other engineering teams to develop systems and processes.
• •Scale systems to meet the demands of commercial expansion and growing complexity.
• •Solve hard, real-world problems such as world simulation for regression testing.
• •Requirements BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of backend engineering or infrastructure experience.
• •Experience with C++ (or willingness to learn).
• •Experience working with non-technical team members.
