• •The Director of Research will lead Protege's DataLab, defining research strategy and ensuring research informs product, go-to-market, and platform capabilities while scaling a high-performing team.
• •Key Responsibilities Define and lead DataLab research strategy aligned with company priorities.
• •Partner with Product, Engineering, and GTM to identify high-value research opportunities.
• •Design and oversee experiments on dataset quality, model performance, and privacy methods.
• •Build scalable systems for benchmarking and training data evaluation.
• •Serve as a customer-facing research partner in sales and delivery conversations.
• •Requirements Proven research leadership and team management experience.
• •Strong background in data for AI, evaluation, and experimentation.
• •Experience building benchmarking and labeling-quality systems.
• •Ability to translate research into product and customer-facing guidance.
