Data Project Manager

Manage data migration from Snowflake to BigQuery and rollout of Looker.

• •Carwow is undertaking a major data warehouse migration from Snowflake to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and launching Looker as its primary BI tool.
• •As the Data Project Manager, you will be the Expert Navigator for this transition, owning the roadmap and managing the migration lifecycle.
• •Key Responsibilities Drive the end-to-end migration from Snowflake to BigQuery, coordinating with external partners and internal teams.
• •Lead the rollout of Looker, managing the transition from legacy reporting and driving user adoption.
• •Act as the bridge between the technical Data team and business stakeholders, managing expectations and communicating progress.
• •Manage risks, resources, and the project backlog using Agile methodologies.
• •Requirements Proven track record of managing complex cloud data migrations (ideally Snowflake to BigQuery/GCP).
• •Experience steering 3rd party consultancies or delivery partners and managing SOWs.
• •Experience implementing or managing Looker rollouts and understanding LookML.
• •Technical fluency in data concepts (e.g., ELT vs ETL).
