Backend Engineer, Content-API

Develop and maintain high-performance content delivery APIs for web and mobile clients.

• •AMBOSS is seeking a Backend Engineer to join their Content API team.
• •This role will focus on building and operating the high-performance content delivery backbone that connects their CMS to all client applications, ensuring content is delivered instantly, reliably, and at scale across web and mobile.
• •Key Responsibilities Build and extend APIs that serve structured content to web and mobile clients.
• •Work on data pipelines that process real-time content events into a queryable state.
• •Contribute to internal developer tooling that generates code from schemas.
• •Improve the reliability and performance of a system serving production medical content.
• •Collaborate with your team to design solutions to loosely defined problems.
• •Requirements 3-5 years of professional backend engineering experience in Go (or Rust).
• •Strong fundamentals in API design, data modeling, and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• •Familiarity with at least one of: GraphQL, event-driven architectures, or stream/batch processing.
