Senior Software Engineer (Edge Data & Telemetry)

Architect and implement factory edge services and data pipelines for metal 3D printing systems.

• •Freeform is deploying software-defined, autonomous metal 3D printing factories.
• •In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing factory edge services, backend data pipeline infrastructure and advanced telemetry capabilities of our metal 3D printing systems.
• •Key Responsibilities Design and implement a horizontally scalable platform that ingests millions of hardware sensor data points per second.
• •Deliver high-quality data services that enable the machine learning team to access real-time and historical print data.
• •Create and operate data pipelines to collect, transform, and query petabyte-scale sensor and telemetry data.
• •Requirements 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• •Proficiency writing, deploying, and maintaining performance oriented backend services (preferably C++, Rust, Go, or Java).
• •Experience developing robust data pipeline software.
