Head of Policy

Lead policy function, manage lobbyists, and drive advocacy campaigns for healthcare AI and digital health.

• •Akido Labs is seeking a Head of Policy to establish and lead their policy function.
• •Key Responsibilities Build and maintain a real-time tracking system for federal and state legislation affecting healthcare AI, telehealth, and digital health.
• •Own the policy roadmap across all operating jurisdictions and expansion targets, identifying emerging opportunities and risks.
• •Hire, manage, and hold accountable federal and state contract lobbyists to execute policy priorities.
• •Serve as the primary external policy voice with policymakers, regulators, trade associations, and industry coalitions.
• •Design and execute proactive advocacy campaigns, including op-eds, testimony, and public comments.
• •Requirements Proven experience in policy development, advocacy, or government affairs, preferably within the healthcare or technology sectors.
• •Strong understanding of federal and state legislative and regulatory processes.
• •Experience managing external lobbyists and building relationships with government officials and agencies.
• •Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
