About the role
TL;DR
Owns data structure, models, and surfacing for customer and internal analytics.
- •Higharc is seeking an expert Analytics Engineer to own how data is structured, understood, and surfaced across their platform for both customers and internal teams.
- •This is a new role on the Software Engineering team, driven by increasing analytics demands from large customers.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable data models and views in Looker/Observable for customer-facing and internal analytics.
- •Partner with engineering to deliver polished customer-facing data views for enterprise builders.
- •Define and build reporting for Product and Customer Success teams based on their metric needs.
- •Set direction for the analytics stack and manage data infrastructure decisions.
- •Build a triage process for analytics requests to manage priorities effectively.
- •Requirements 6+ years in analytics, data science, or business intelligence with end-to-end ownership.
- •Proven expertise in writing and optimizing SQL with strong data modeling fundamentals.
- •Hands-on experience with BI/visualization tools like Looker or Observable.
- •Experience with data warehouses (BigQuery, S3) and product analytics tools (PostHog).
- •Track record of building both internal and customer-facing dashboards and reporting.
