Senior Software Engineer, Fraud

Design and implement detection systems to protect Replit’s platform from fraud and abuse.

• •The Fraud team defends Replit’s platform from exploitation by building detection systems, AI-native guardrails, and automated responses to stop phishing, cryptomining, token farming, and other abuses.
• •Key Responsibilities Design and implement LLM guardrails and AI-powered detection systems Build and operate abuse detection for phishing, cryptomining, account takeover, and fraud Design automated enforcement and own the full abuse response lifecycle Analyze attack patterns using BigQuery and maintain internal detection tools Requirements 4+ years in security engineering, anti-abuse, trust & safety, or fraud detection Strong programming in Python and/or TypeScript and SQL/data analysis at scale Experience building or fine-tuning ML/LLM classifiers and familiarity with prompt injection Ability to investigate abuse patterns and translate findings into automated defenses
