- •Sonar is seeking a Staff Engineer to join the Identity Squad within the StoreFront department.
- •This role focuses on architecting secure, scalable identity solutions for Sonar's product ecosystem, handling thousands of requests per second.
- •Key Responsibilities Architect and guide the design of on-premises and AWS cloud applications.
- •Oversee feature deployment, production monitoring, and troubleshoot live issues.
- •Mentor engineering team members to foster growth and autonomy.
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust security features and optimal user experiences.
- •Requirements Over 8 years of software engineering experience, including Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or Software Architect roles.
- •Proficiency with Java and a strong commitment to Clean Code and software quality.
- •Experience architecting cloud-native applications and with relational RDBMS (e.g., Postgres) and SQL.
- •Domain expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) with hands-on experience in AuthN/AuthZ protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, JWT) and user provisioning (SCIM).
- •Proficiency in working with and steering AI coding tools.
