TL;DR
Build and lead Hawk-Eye's Platform Engineering function to enable scalable AI-driven workflows.
- •As Director of Platform Engineering, you will build shared foundations for Hawk-Eye's technology organization.
- •Key Responsibilities Build the platform, data, and governance conditions required for AI-enabled software delivery to scale safely.
- •Ensure shared services, modular interfaces, and governed data access create the right foundations for future AI acceleration.
- •Provide leadership for internal engineering enablement through the Developer Experience function.
- •Define, build, and own Hawk-Eye's internal Platform-as-a-Service.
- •Build and lead a high-calibre Platform Engineering function with strong technical credibility and operational judgement.
- •Requirements Strong technology leadership with experience building shared platforms and data capabilities.
- •Credibility with senior engineers and comfort in operationally demanding environments.
- •Ability to move between cloud infrastructure, data foundations, organizational design, and delivery reality without losing the plot.
- •Caring about engineering quality and business consequences.
- •Knowledge of reliability, governed data, and shared standards making the organization better at delivering outcomes.
