Design Imagineer

Redefine design and engineering for Abridge's clinician-facing tools.

• •As our Design Imagineer, you’ll redefine how design and engineering come together in directly shaping how Abridge shows up in the hands of clinicians every day in the moments that matter most.
• •Key Responsibilities Build the Foundation: Design and develop Abridge’s design system from the ground up.
• •AI-Native Design Tooling: Explore and build AI-powered tools that accelerate prototyping, iteration, and exploration.
• •Turn Designers into Builders: Create workflows, tools, and abstractions that allow designers to move seamlessly from concept to production.
• •Requirements 5–10+ years of experience spanning design engineering, design systems, creative technologist work, front end engineering or similar hybrid roles.
• •Experience building or contributing to design systems that scale across teams and products.
• •Fluency in modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript) and experience with frameworks like React.
