Join Scopely's Monopoly GO! game team as a Staff Engineer.
- •Scopely is seeking a Staff Engineer to join the Monopoly GO! game team, either in Culver City or remotely on the West Coast of the US or Canada.
- •Key Responsibilities Collaborate with feature owners, game design, and development teams to implement new features and pipelines for Monopoly Go! Drive the implementation of online game mechanics and system processes using Unity and C# Ensure technical performance is 'Best-in-Class' throughout development Write automated, high-quality tests and work with QA teams to improve gameplay experience Collaborate with cross-functional departments including game design, QA, liveops, etc.
- •Contribute to technical plans and discuss workflows and requirements with stakeholders Requirements 8+ years in professional game development or relevant area Mastery of C# or another OO language, including experience with asynchronous and multi-threaded programming paradigms Experience with Unity Game Engine or a similar technology Strong understanding of game framework architecture, maintainability, robust API design, etc.
- •Experience with asynchronous, multi-threaded, parallel programming paradigms Enjoys solving complex technical problems and sharing knowledge with non-technical people
