Backend Software Engineer

Develop and maintain cloud backend for image data processing.

• •Build and maintain Lumafield's cloud backend including REST APIs and large data processing pipelines for X-Ray/CT image data, deployable to cloud and on-prem environments.
• •Key Responsibilities Implement cloud backend APIs using Python, Django and DRF Build highly parallelized dataset processing with Python, Celery and NumPy Design and deploy services on AWS (EKS, S3, CloudFront) and Kubernetes Integrate research/algorithm work into production systems Collaborate with product and engineering leadership Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field 2+ years production Python backend experience with major web frameworks Experience with large dataset processing using NumPy Strong software engineering fundamentals (git, testing, code reviews) Experience with Linux, Docker, and production deployments
