TL;DR
Design and implement security for embedded systems in autonomous vehicles.
- •Wayve is seeking a Staff Embedded Security Engineer to design, implement, and test onboard software and connected services for their autonomous driving platforms.
- •This role is critical for ensuring the security of Wayve's vehicle fleets.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and develop real-time embedded firmware and embedded Linux software to implement security controls.
- •Partner with the wider Wayve Security team to identify and address security issues.
- •Build, deploy, and maintain security tools, libraries, and controls.
- •Perform code and design reviews to identify and remediate security flaws.
- •Requirements Proven record of designing and delivering software security systems for internet-connected embedded devices.
- •Experience incorporating hardware-based security techniques (HSMs, TrustZone, Secure Boot).
- •Sound knowledge of Cryptography fundamentals and Public Key Infrastructure.
- •System-level (kernel/bootloader) software development experience.
- •Significant experience with Python, C++, C, or Go.
