- •The Senior Food Scientist will lead product development initiatives and establish operational objectives for the food science function.
- •Key Responsibilities Create products based on ingredient functionality, nutritional targets, consumer need, claim substantiation, operational feasibility, and financial targets.
- •Design, execute, and document bench-top experiments to evaluate ingredient functionality, texture, palatability, nutritional density, and processing behavior.
- •Drive new formulations and identify opportunities in current and future products.
- •Mentor and develop a direct report.
- •Serve as a key resource for Customer Experience, Brand, Animal Healthcare, and Operations teams.
- •Requirements Report directly to the Director, Food Science.
- •Requires up to 40% travel.
- •Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- •Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work without assumptions.
- •Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
