Edge Functions Engineer

Develop and optimize Supabase Edge Functions for global applications.

• •Supabase is seeking an experienced Edge Functions Engineer to join our team.
• •Key Responsibilities Evolving Supabase Edge Runtime Implementing monitoring, alerting, and OpenTelemetry tracing Working closely with the Deno and other open-source teams Participating in an on-call rotation Help manage and improve features like scheduled functions, background tasks, WebSockets streaming, ephemeral file storage, and custom routing Requirements At least 5 years of backend or systems engineering experience Strong fluency in Rust and TypeScript Experience with V8 Isolates, Deno and the JavaScript runtimes in general Experience operating infrastructure at scale A strong vision for how compute and data can be pushed to the edge
