Software Engineer - Computer Vision

Develops AI and ML models for advanced video analytics, including detection and recognition features.

• •The Computer Vision team develops AI and ML models for Verkada's advanced analytics, including features like people and vehicle detection, license plate recognition, and other intelligent video analysis tools.
• •Key Responsibilities Implement and deploy binary classifiers using TensorFlow.
• •Develop algorithms for detecting unusual object addition/removal in scenes.
• •Train text image embedding models and vision language models.
• •Implement license plate recognition on the edge.
• •Train facial recognition models and implement real-time facial recognition.
• •Requirements Write clean, modular C++ code.
• •Implement traditional computer vision algorithms.
• •Train deep learning networks using PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, or similar.
• •Understand data structures and architecture.
