- •The FP&A Strategy Intern will be a strategic finance partner to SumUp's leadership, turning numbers into decisions that move the business.
- •This role involves building forecasts, models, and business cases for budget allocation, pricing, and new market launches, with direct exposure to senior decision-makers.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate budget allocation and business plans.
- •Examine internal financial data to identify risks and opportunities and provide financial expertise to support managerial decision making.
- •Support cross-functional projects to maximise financial performance, such as pricing strategies, revenue optimisation, or cost reduction initiatives.
- •Develop business cases to assess the financial viability of projects, including product or market launches.
- •Develop and monitor KPIs and financial metrics to assess performance.
- •Requirements Master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- •Structured, hypothesis-driven thinking with the ability to break down ambiguous problems.
- •Previous internship experience in consulting, venture capital, startups, banking, or FP&A.
- •Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Slides; keenness to learn Apps Script.
- •Solid grounding in finance and accounting basics, familiarity with SAP and Pigment.
