TL;DR
R&D Engineer to scale textile recycling chemistry from lab to pilot plant.
- •Syntetica is seeking a hands-on R&D Engineer to help scale their textile recycling process.
- •You will work at the intersection of R&D and Engineering to shape the design and execution of their pilot plant.
- •Key Responsibilities Scale depolymerization chemistry from lab to kilo-lab scale.
- •Translate experimental results into process assumptions and specifications.
- •Document experiments, SOPs, and safety procedures.
- •Design and execute lab experiments for pilot plant design inputs.
- •Support pilot operations by diagnosing issues and validating process assumptions.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience with chemical reactions, including depolymerization and purification techniques.
- •Practical application of analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, LC-MS, etc.).
- •Experience translating lab processes toward scale-up, ideally at kilo-lab scale.
- •Strong communication skills in English; French is a plus.
