About the role
TL;DR
Ensure reliability and scalability of Tenable's cloud platform for government customers.
- •Tenable is seeking a Software/Site Reliability Engineer to build out and scale their cloud-based vulnerability management platform for private and US Government cloud customers.
- •This role focuses on ensuring reliability, automatic scaling, and self-management of the platform.
- •Key Responsibilities Ensure Tenable cloud products are reliable and highly available in cloud environments.
- •Respond to support escalations, troubleshoot complex technical problems, and resolve data/configuration issues.
- •Develop software, tools, and scripts to automate deployment, management, and monitoring of production systems.
- •Collaborate with cloud engineers on new cloud technologies and propose solutions.
- •Participate in an on-call rotation and support 24x7 availability of production systems.
- •Requirements U.S. citizen required. 2+ years of related SRE experience.
- •Experience with Terraform or similar IaC technologies.
- •Experience with orchestration tooling such as Kubernetes and container solutions like Docker.
- •Experience deploying public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and scripting languages like Python or Node.js.
