About the role
TL;DR
Manage a software development team, driving technical excellence and AI-first development practices.
- •We are seeking a Manager, Software Development to join one of our Product teams.
- •You will cultivate a strong team identity with personalized coaching and mentoring, driving both technical excellence and team development.
- •Key Responsibilities Hire, coach, and retain top engineering talent, setting clear expectations and providing frequent, actionable feedback.
- •Own the software delivery lifecycle end-to-end for your team, from technical design to deployment and operations.
- •Make AI-first the default in your team's day-to-day workflow, establishing and enforcing guardrails for safety and accountability.
- •Define, prioritize, and execute the team’s roadmap in collaboration with Product Managers.
- •Identify technical opportunities and risks in your team's area and work proactively to address them.
- •Requirements Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields. 7+ years of hands-on experience with software development. 3+ years of people management experience in a technical industry.
- •Strong knowledge of AI-assisted development practices.
- •Experience with AlayaCare’s stack (Python, PHP, Vue.JS, AWS) is a plus.
