Forward Deployed Engineer

Technical owner for complex customer engagements in Japan.

• •Notion's Professional Services team owns the most technical customer engagements in Japan, and we're hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to be the technical owner for our most complex work.
• •Key Responsibilities Partner directly with strategic customers to design and ship migrations, bespoke integrations, and production-grade AI workflows.
• •Work alongside Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, Customer Success, and Engineering to turn messy requirements into solutions that stick.
• •Turn what you learn into repeatable playbooks and product feedback.
• •Requirements Hands-on, customer-facing engineering experience.
• •Fluency in at least one programming language such as TypeScript/Node.js, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• •Practical experience building with APIs and data integrations.
• •Strong technical judgment and operating discipline.
• •High agency and learning velocity.
