TL;DR
Design and operate public and private network infrastructure for a generative media ecosystem.
- •Fal.ai is building the generative media ecosystem and seeks a Senior/Staff Network Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate its public and private network infrastructure.
- •This role involves building the network connecting data centers and cloud environments, supporting both the public serverless platform and custom compute clusters.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, build, validate, and operate public and private networks.
- •Automate network provisioning, configuration, validation, monitoring, and recovery using AI.
- •Manage ASNs, public IP prefixes, and private address space.
- •Build and operate BGP routing, including route policies, traffic engineering, and failover.
- •Establish private peering with customers, partners, and cloud providers.
- •Requirements 5+ years building and operating production network infrastructure.
- •Strong Linux networking skills including routing tables, namespaces, firewalling, and NAT.
- •Deep BGP knowledge including route selection, convergence, and troubleshooting.
- •Experience managing ASNs, public IP space, and BGP announcements.
- •Production VXLAN overlay network experience.
